Nothing says Easter dressing like a floppy hat and floral dress! The girls are so ready to celebrate Easter in their sweet Spring outfits. I’ve rounded up rompers for the serious egg hunters and frilly dresses for the sweetest of Easter bunnies!

Back to School Kids Fashion

The girls go back to school next week and it's all bitter sweet!  We have had a great summer but I can't say I'm ready for a routine again.  We are stocking up on our "Back to School" outfit staples and have our closets almost ready for the new year.  

When planning outfits for back to school, I always aim for a capsule approach.  A "capsule" wardrobe is one that each piece is timeless and can be interchanged with the others to create different looks for each season.  We aim for comfy dresses and tops that can be layered with cool denim jackets or leggings when the weather chills.  I also like to shop for the comfiest of shoes.  I a only buy shoes that last and can be worn with a million different outfit combos.  We typically opt for one pair of "running" shoes, one pair of boots that can double as rain boots, and one pair of fashionable shoes like booties.  

Denim and sparkle

Why not go for a little sparkle every now and then? I adore sequins...maybe because growing up dancing we were covered in them since as long as we could remember.  Either way, they make me happy!  Paired with my favorite Alice + Olivia pumps and understated chambray top it's the perfect combo to dress down the shimmer!

I adore the pairing of an easy pair of bright  denim shorts and a cute boyfriend blazer.  Sneakers or heels the look is fun and effortless and perfect for any occasion!
